i guess main reason i haven't been able to blog for so long is because i'm really lazy and also the fact that i started uni!?! itz been a very busy couple of weekz at sydney uni!! i really like the fact that it lookz really pretty and lookz like a castle but it is insanely huge!! i am seriously getting a workout from all the stairs i have to climb and all the walking i have to do....on some occasions RUNNING!! first week wasn't too bad cause each lecturer was just giving a brief outline of what was going to happen during the year, most of my lecturers are pretty good. i'm doing B Arts and B Science and this year doing japanese, biology, maths (calculus), maths (statistics) and psychology. i hate the fact that i have to do mathz but i have to do it for my course but just for the first year!! Uni isn't too bad...i mean you get to meet a lot of new people which is pretty good but the funny thing is even though you tell them what school you went to half of them have no idea where blakehurst was!! but there sure are a lot of people that travel very far just to get to USYD. lukily i had my best friendz and a couple of old high skool friendz at uni so i didn't look loner but most of them had dayz off whereas i have a packed timetable so i dun get any dayz off!! which realli realli sux cause i wanna chek out some other uniz friendz are at!! unfortunately i already have a couple of embarrassing momentz at uni and itz like onli been the first few weekz.....other then getting lost trying to find my way to my classes.....and waiting outside my room for half an hr only to figure out that my class started next week.......prob the one that i remember the most is the time i had a japanese tutorial......once i finally found the right room the chairz were like alreadi folded up so there was a desk but no chair.........and the chair was all blak so i had no idea how to get the chair to unfold........since i was kinda late i tried to figure it out without bothering anyone....but then luckily a guy behind me figured i needed help and explained that i was pulling down the wrong thing..........(face went realli realli red) awww man felt sooo stupid but the week after that i did it all by myself!! not long after that incident did i have another embarrassing tale.....i'm not realli an early morning person, i love sleeping in!! sleeping is very important although people call me nocturnal cause i stay up late and sleep during the day ahahahaha anywayz wat happened was i thought i'd try to catch a later train so that i wouldn't have to wake up so early but THAT WAS A BIG MISTAKE!! once i got off at the station i had to seriously power walk to uni!? my legz were cramping but there was no time to rest!! while trying to doge everyone on the pathway to uni i finally get to my lecture just in time!! but since it was a really hot day that day i was really out of breath and i was breathing pretty heavily........which probably creeped out the person i sat next to......but luckily he got to see that i wasn't a freak after i got my breath back and wasn't red faced anymore lolz hmmmz therez prob one more embarrassing moment i had at uni during these past few weekz.......i really need to try to remember my timetable.....because whenever i think i have a break is when i actually have a class on!! i never seem to learn from my mistakes.....the first time i did that was when i thought i had a break with michael and called him on his phone......i asked him where he was and he told me he was heading to his next lecture......i was thinking huh???......then he asked me why i wasn't in class.......so i go to check my timetable and i actually had a class on!!! luckily i made it in time......my break was actualli after the class i nearly missed......... the other time was just a couple of dayz ago.....i remember the beginning of the week my math lecturer was telling us that some tutorial rooms were changing but when i checked the list my tutorial time wasn't there so i didn't think i had to worry about any changes........so after i had my bio lecture i had to run to a building half way across campus and climb a mountain of stairs!?! i am not even kidding!! and then i look inside the room to find that nobody is in there!?! i started to freak out!!? and i remembered that the lecturer told us that if we ever had a problem go to level 5 which was 2 floorz down from where i was!? so after climbing down i find the office and ring the bell.....and this nice lady came to the counter asking wat i needed help with?? "ummm sorry to bother you but i was meant to have a tutorial on at this time......" (pointing to my timetable............only to realise that my LECTURE WAS ON NOT MY TUTORIAL)........so i politely smiled back at the lady apologising to her that i was an idiot...........AND RAN AWAY!?! i'm pretti sure this isn't the end to my embarassing uni stories...there'll probably be more stories to tell as the weekz go by........so u should look forward to them....... |
